Both Yogurt and Laban have numerous health benefits. Yogurt is a fermented milk product that is produced by bacterial fermentation of milk and it is little thick and creamy. Our body needs a few amount of “ good” bacteria in the digestive part and the Yogurt contains “good” bacteria.
Yogurt / Yoghurt is easily digested and less lactose than milk and it is good for bones, boost immune system and helps to make soft skin. Yogurt is highly nutritious and also a good source of protein, calcium, vitamins, etc. It will reduce the risk of diseases like high blood pressure, Colon Cancer, Diarrhea and heart diseases.

What is halal?
Halal is Arabic for permissible. Halal food is that which adheres to Islamic law, as defined in the Koran. It must comply with the religious ritual and observance of Sharia law.
What is the process?
The animal, lamb, beef, veal, goat, is 100% grass fat. The chicken is vegeterian fed, grown without antibiotics. The form of slaughtering animals or poultry, dhabiha, involves killing through a cut to the jugular vein, carotid artery and windpipe. Animals must be alive and healthy at the time of slaughter and all blood is drained from the carcass. During the process, a Muslim will recite a dedication, know as tasmiya or shahada.
